5. Internet connection sharing
If you share the resources of your internet connection over a private network on your premises, you must make sure that your network is secure, and that any internet connection sharing software that you are using does not permit access from outside of your network. This is especially important if running an "Open Proxy Server". This is because an "Open Proxy Server" will allow other users of the internet to exploit your internet connection, and use it as if it were their own. For example, an external user could access your local network or send unsolicited e-mail that would appear to come from you.
6. Port Scanning
You must not run port scanning software which accesses remote machines or networks, except with the explicit prior permission of the administrator or owner of such remote machines or networks. This includes using applications capable of scanning the ports of other internet users.
If you intend to run a port scanning application, prior to the application being run you must provide RVGL with a copy of the written consent received from the target of the scan authorising the activity.
7. Further obligations related to SPAM and USENET SPAM and bulk mailing
You must not benefit from SPAM or USENET SPAM (which includes causing or requesting any of your details to appear in SPAM or USENET SPAM and/or receiving responses to SPAM or USENET SPAM).
You must not purchase, create, use, distribute, sell or otherwise be involved in software, services or lists of sites, addresses, numbers or other identifiers of any kind (including email addresses and phone numbers) that are used to promote, send, or assist with the sending of, SPAM or USENET SPAM.
If you send bulk (i.e. 100 or more electronic messages sent over a 10 minute consecutive period) solicited electronic messages, then you must include in each message, an email address, telephone number, facsimile number or mailing address that can be used to notify you that the recipient no longer wishes to receive such messages from you (“and opt out notice”), and if you are sent an opt out notice you must immediately comply with it.
8. Your obligations upon breach of this AUP
If you engage in abusive behavior you may be notified that your behavior is unacceptable and you may have your account and/or Services to you suspended or terminated.
If you become aware of any activities prohibited by this AUP, you must:
(a) use best endeavours to stop and to remedy the relevant activities immediately, including, if necessary, limiting or terminating access to your online facilities;
(b) report the matter by sending a message to SecurityTeamDist@relianceglobalcom.com ; and
(c) if the breach is one which may reasonably be regarded by RVGL as urgent or serious, report the matter to your RVGL account manager by telephone and e-mail.
If you do not comply with you obligations in this paragraph 8, you agree to indemnify RVGL against all claims, demands, actions, costs, expenses (including but not limited to reasonable legal costs and disbursements), losses and damages arising from or incurred as a result the relevant breach of this AUP.
9. Indemnity
You agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless RVGL in respect of all claims, demands, proceedings, losses, costs, damages, awards, fees, expenses, or liabilities, of any nature arising out of any breach of this AUP, any infringement of any intellectual property rights anywhere in the world or any claims from any third parties whatsoever in relation to the nature or content of the data carried over the network provided by the Services and all claims, proceedings, losses, costs, damages, awards, fees, expenses, or liabilities, of any nature made in connection with any third party data carried over the network provided by the Services.
9. General

This AUP is not by itself sufficient to prevent possible harm to persons who use the Services as a result of prohibited acts by other users. You are responsible for taking such steps as you believe are necessary to protect the security, integrity, and availability of your systems, networks and all information.
RVGL can not accept liability for harm that results from any breaches of this AUP by other users of the Services or RVGL websites, even if RVGL is aware of any breach.
You agree that this AUP is supplemental to and does not replace or override any contractual agreement in place between us or between RVGL and its other customers. However RVGL will consider any breach of this AUP by you to be a material breach of our contract which may result in termination or other consequences as specified in the contract.
If you have any questions in relation to this AUP then please contact us at SecurityTeamDist@relianceglobalcom.com
